This map has been generated by Mapmate 18/02/2012

Distribution:
Locally frequent along the coast, especially between Ainsdale and Southport; widespread but more occasional further inland.

Comments:
Neophyte, of horticultural origin, considered a relic briar onto which rose cultivars were grafted; not as invasive as Rosa rugosa.
