Comments:
Neophyte, planted, native to western and northern America. This fragrant species is thought to be occasionally planted, surviving as a relic of cultivation and also occurs as young saplings, especially on walls and stonework. The earliest record traced is from Ince Blundell Woods (SD3202, I Richardson, 1982).
