Distribution:
Still to be found in the South Liverpool district at Allerton (SJ48D, S Fletcher, c. 1995); Wavertree Road (SJ38T, H McGhie, 2004); hospiral grounds at the bottom of Penny Lane (SJ3887, P Tipping, 2010); Kirkby (SJ49E, C Fenton, 2010); on Poplars at a farm near Haydock (SJ5447, DP Earl, 2009); near Hesketh Bank (SD4223, J Lamb, 2010); Astley (SJ7094, MPG Tolfree, 1995); near Deansgate Station (SJ8397, Greater Manchester Ecology Unit, 2008); Fielden Park Campus West Didsbury (SJ8391, A Hunt, 2008); near Fletcher Moss, Didsbury (SJ8490, D Bishop, 2008).
A plant at Walmer Bridge (SD42S, S Cross, 1998) that occurred on a cultivated hawthorn has since been lost.

Habitat:
Gardens, cemeteries and hedgerows, known to be parasitic on Poplar, Lime, Hawthorn, Apple and Crab Apple.

Comments:
A neophyte in South Lancashire.
